Dippio is a mutual fund signal dashboard that tracks intraday price movements of NSE stocks held by mutual funds and shows dip signals in real time. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
2. Data We Collect
- Email address — used for account login and alert notifications
- Phone number — optional, used only if you enable SMS alerts
- Zerodha access token — used to fetch your mutual fund holdings from Zerodha's API. We store only the temporary access token, not your Zerodha login credentials or password
- Alert preferences — your chosen signal level threshold and notification channels
- Bookmarked funds — list of funds you have starred
We do not collect payment information, government IDs, or any sensitive personal data.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To authenticate you and maintain your session
- To send buy signal alerts via email or SMS (only if you opt in)
- To display your Zerodha mutual fund portfolio within the app
- To personalise alerts to your bookmarked funds
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.
4. Data Storage & Security
- All data is stored on Supabase, which provides encryption at rest and in transit (TLS)
- Zerodha access tokens are stored encrypted and expire automatically at 6 AM IST daily (Zerodha's policy)
- Passwords are never stored — authentication is handled by Supabase Auth
- Servers are hosted on a private VPS with restricted access
6. Data Retention
- Your account data is retained as long as your account is active
- Zerodha access tokens are automatically invalidated by Zerodha every day at 6 AM IST
- If you delete your account, all your data (email, phone, token, bookmarks, alert settings) is permanently deleted
7. Your Rights (India DPDP Act 2023)
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate personal data
- Request deletion of your personal data
- Withdraw consent for data processing
